John HOLCOMB 
John was born on May 6th, 1743 in Simsbury,Hartford,Connecticut. John's father was John HOLCOMB and his mother was Mary KENT. His paternal grandparents were John HOLCOMB(HOLCOMBE and Anna (Anne) (Ann) PETTIBONE; his maternal grandparents were John KENT and Mary SMITH. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Noah, Moses, Jesse, Ruth, Mary, Martha and Miriam. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 85 on April 30th, 1829.General Notes
