Leendert's baptism took place on June 27th, 1773 in Lekkerkerk,Zuid Holland,Netherland.  Leendert's father was Bart HOFMAN and his mother was Teuntje NEEF.  His paternal grandparents were Lambregt HOFMAN and Annigje Cornelisse VAN DER HOEK; his maternal grandparents were Leendert NEEF and Pietertje COIJMAN. He had a brother and three sisters, named Cornelis, Pietertje, Annigje and Neeltje.  He died on February 18th, 1779 in Lekkerkerk,Zuid Holland,Netherland.  He was buried in Lekkerkerk,Zuid Holland,Netherland.
