Mary Elvina was born on April 27th, 1872 in Mendon,Cache,Ut. Mary Elvina's father was James Hood HILL and her mother was Christena SORENSEN (KIRSTEN. Her paternal grandparents were Alexander(Jr) HILL and Agnes HOOD; her maternal grandparents were Nicolai SORENSEN and Magdelena (Malene) OLSEN (PEDERSEN). She had four brothers and five sisters, named Alexander Moroni, James Isaac, Nicholas Nephi, William, Malinda Cathrine, Agnes, Christina L., Lucetta and Elizabeth Jane. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 79 on June 17th, 1951 in Ioka,Duchesne,Ut. She was buried on June 20th, 1951 in Roosevelt,Duchesne,Ut.General Notes
