Martin Gray

Martin was born on August 8th, 1822 in North Carolina.  Martin's father was Joseph Gray and his mother was Amelia (Millie).  His paternal grandfather was poss John Blair Gray. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Isaac, William, Benjamin F or I, Barnibus B. (Barney), Joseph, Charles, Griffin, David, Anna, Lydia and Margaret.  He was the fourth youngest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 49 on April 15th, 1872 in Terre Haute,Vigo County,Indiana.  He was buried in Woodlawn Cemetary,Terre Haute,Indiana.

‌Martin and Deborah were married in a religious ceremony on July 28th, 1852 in Terre Haute,Vigo County,Indiana.
