James Gentry 
James was born about 1782. James' father was Samuel Gentry and his mother was Agnes Brooks. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Gentry and Agnes Shelton. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Matthew, Joseph, William, Agnes and Daughter. He was the third youngest of the six children. He had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named George, Shelton, Thomas, Arthur, Nancy, Sarah (Sally), Susannah and Elizabeth. He died on June 5th, 1840 in Spencer County,Indiana. He was buried in Garden of Memory Spencer County,IN.General Notes
