George Gentry 
George was born in 1837. George's father was Samuel Gentry and his mother was Abigail Powers. His paternal grandparents were Matthew Gentry and Elizabeth Cook; his maternal grandparents were Isaac H. Powers and Abigail Davis. He had four brothers and four sisters, named James, John, William, Samuel, Hannah, Emeline, Maria and Nancy. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He was buried in Gentry Cemetery.-
