John Gay 
John was born on June 5th, 1651 in Dedham,Norfolk County,Massachusetts. John's father was John Gay and his mother was Joanna Borden. His paternal grandparents were Richard Gay and Joan; his maternal grandparents were Matthew Borden and Joan Reeder. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, Nathaniel, Hezekiah, Jonathan, Eleazar, Abial, Judith and Joanna. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Matthew, John and Elizabeth. He died at the age of 80 on November 19th, 1731.-
