Robert was born on January 11th, 1699.  Robert's father was Samuel Fowler, Jr. and his mother was Hannah Worthen(Warthen).  His paternal grandparents were Samuel Fowler and Margaret Norman (second); his maternal grandparents were Ezekial Worthen and Hannah Martin. He had five brothers and seven sisters, named Samuel, Jacob, Ezekiel, Thomas, Abraham, Hannah, Mary, Ann, Lydia, Judith, Susannah and Sarah.
