John Findlay 
John was born in 1615 in Balchristie,Fife,Scotland. John's father was Alexander Finley and his mother was Grizelda Huntar. His paternal grandparents were James Finley and Elizabeth Warrender. He had three brothers and two sisters, named James, Alexander, William, Grizeldal and Ellen. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 60 in 1675.-
