John L. Ferguson 
John L. was born on August 27th, 1811 in Vanderburgh County,Indiana. John L.'s father was John Ferguson and his mother was Mary Sullivan. He had two sisters named Catherine and Emeline. He was the oldest of the three children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Peter, Thomas Crow and Elizabeth (Betsey). He died at the age of 45 in 1856 in Pike County,Indiana.
John L. and Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony on November 15th, 1832 in Warrick County,Indiana. They had four sons and three daughters, named William D., Joseph W., Thomas L., John, Minerva, Luisa and Elizabeth.

Joseph W. was born on June 1st, 1836 in Pikeville,Pike County,Indiana. He died at the age of 56 on June 19th, 1892 in Pikeville,Pike County,Indiana. He was buried in Stillwell Cemetary,Pike Co. Indiana.
