John ERSKINE Baron Erskine[EARL OF MAR]

John was born about 1551 in Of,Erskine,Scotland.  John's father was John ERSKINE Baron Erskine and his mother was Margaret CAMPBELL. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Arthur, Robert, Thomas, Alexander, Katherine, Janet, Margaret and Elizabeth.  He was the youngest of the nine children. He had five half-brothers and a half-sister, named Duncan, Archibald, Dugald, Duncan, Donald and Miss.  He died on October 28th, 1572.  He was buried in Church Of Alloa.

‌John and Anabel (Annabella) were married in a religious ceremony.
