Richard III was born about 1001 in Normandy.1   Richard III's father was Richard II Duc De Normandie 4th and his mother was Judith Of Brittany.  His paternal grandparents were Richard I Duc De Normandie 3rd Duc and Gunnora Of Crepon; his maternal grandparents were Conan I Duc De Bretagne and Ermangarde De Anjou. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Robert I, Guillaume, Mauger Le Jeune, Adelais and Eleanor , Of Normandie. He had a half-sister named Papia.  He died on August 6th, 1028.1
