Isaac Dewees 
Isaac was born in 1750 in Kent County,Delaware. Isaac's father was Hezekiah Dewees and his mother was Mary King. His paternal grandparents were Lewis-Lambertus Dewees and Mary Wheeler; his maternal grandparents were Isaac King and Anne. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Ezekiel, Joseph, Elizabeth and Mary. He died at the age of 71 in 1821 in Kent County,Delaware.General Notes

DE probate reacord for Isaac Deweese; 1775 Naval muster roll gives Isaac's birthdate as 1750 (PA Mag. of History and Bio. 12:351) ; Isaac's Rev War pension application of 1820 states he was b 1750; Delaware Archives, vol 4 p. 276, lists Hezekiah Duess as age 31 in 1810, and in 2ns Regiment, 1st Brigade; 1800-1820 Kent Co., DE census.
