ROBERT was born in 0916.1 ROBERT's father was HERBERT II Count Of Vermandois and his mother was HILDEBRANT (LIEGARD Princess Of Neustria. His paternal grandparents were Herbert I Count Of Vermandois Count and BERTHA (BEATRICE) De MORVOIS; his maternal grandparents were ROBERT I King Of France and ADELAIDE Princess Of France. He had a brother and two sisters, named ALBERT I (ADALBERT) 'THE, ALICE (ADELAIDE ADELE) and LUITGARDE. He was the second oldest of the four children. He had a half-sister named HILDEGARDE.
