Waleran was born in 1153. Waleran's father was Roger De Newburgh and his mother was Gundred De Warenne. His maternal grandparents were William II De Warenne and Isabel De Vermandois. He had two brothers and a sister, named Henry, William and Agnes. He had two half-brothers named Gilbert and William II. He died at the age of 51 on December 12th, 1204.General Notes
