William DeMoss

William was born on September 22nd, 1716 in Baltimore Co,Maryland   (now Harford Co).  William's father was *Louis DeMoss and his mother was *Catherine.  His paternal grandfather was *Count Louis Dumas (according to tradition). He had six brothers and two sisters, named Lewis, John, Peter (Pierre), Thomas, James, *Charles (Sr.), Catherine and Pine orJane.  He was the third oldest of the nine children.
