Amaury was born about 1070 in ,Montfort Amaury,Ile De France,France.1   Amaury's father was Simon II De Montfort and his mother was Agnaes D'EVREUX.  His paternal grandfather was Almeric DE MONTFORT. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Almeric (Amauri), Isabel "Elizabeth", Bertrade and Isabel Elizabeth.  He died in 1137.1
