Benjamin DURFEE, SR.

Benjamin was born in 1666 in Portsmouth,Newport,Rhode Island.  Benjamin's father was Thomas DURFEE and his mother was Mrs Thomas DURFEE.  His paternal grandparents were Job DURFEY and Judieh BORDEN. He had six brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Robert, Richard, Thomas, William, Benjamin and Ann.  He was the third oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 88 on January 6th, 1754 in Tiverton,Newport,Rhode Island.  He was buried in Tiverton,Newport,Rhode Island.
