Rossanne was born on June 15th, 1805 in Rutherford County,TN. Rossanne's father was *Isaac Chenault\Chineau\Shinault and her mother was *Margaret. Her paternal grandparents were *Stephen Chenault and *Mary Rouze. She had five brothers and three sisters, named James, William, Walter, Stephen, John, Elizabeth, Ann Hannah and *Mary Elizabeth. She was the youngest of the nine children.-
