James CLEGG

James was born on August 25th, 1812 in Preston,Lancs.,Eng. James' father was Henry Sr. CLEGG and his mother was Ellen CARDWELL. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Jonathan, Henry C, Margaret, Betsy and Alice. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 41 on September 8th, 1853.
