Samuel was born in 1639 in New Haven,New Haven,England,Connecticut and his baptism took place in 1640 in Firstcongregatio,New Haven,CT. Samuel's father was John (Sgt) CLARK and his mother was Mrs. John CLARK. His paternal grandparents were Thomas CLARK and CLARK. He had two brothers and three sisters, named John, John, Abigail, Abigail and Esther Or Hester. He was the third youngest of the six children.
