Bethoc's father was Mael-Coluim (Malcolm , King of Scots II). Her paternal grandparents were Cinaed , King of Scots (Kenneth) and Daughter of Leinster. She had two sisters named Anleta and Donada. Bethoc is no longer alive.
Bethoc and The Thane were married in a religious ceremony in 1000. They had a son named Duncan I , King of Scots.

Duncan I , King of Scots was born in 1007. He died at the age of 33 on August 14th, 1040 in Murdered by Macbeth near Elgin.
