Mathew BRIGGS 
Mathew was born on February 5th, 1676 in Taunton,Bristol,MA. Mathew's father was William BRIGGS and his mother was Sarah MACOMBER. His paternal grandparents were John BRIGGS and Hannah FISHER; his maternal grandparents were William MACOMBER and Priscilla Ursula THOMAS. He had four brothers and four sisters, named William, Thomas, Amos, John, Sarah, Elizabeth Macomber, Hannah and Mary. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 89 on March 8th, 1765 in Dighton,Bristol,Massachussetts.General Notes
