Ahaz 
Ahaz was born in Abt 755 BC. Ahaz's father was Jotham. His paternal grandparents were Uzziah Azariah and Jerusha. He was an only child. He died in Abt 727 BC.General Notes
REIGNED: King of both N. & S.Kingdoms 734-727
d. c.727 B.C., king of Judah (c.731-727 B.C.). His reign marked the end of the
real independence of Judah. In the BIBLE he is opposed by ISAIAH for his
alliance with Assyria against Israel and Syria, and denounced forhaving
heathen abominations and for using the Temple gold to pay tribute to Assyria.
He sacrificed his children to pagan gods (II Chronicles 28:3)
