Sophie was born in 1882 in Russell Co.,KY.1 Sophie's father was Logan Abshear and her mother was Mary E. Morrison. Her paternal grandparents were Allen Abshear and Margaret. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Mont, Harrison, James, Robert, Thomas, Will, Willis, Frozie, Mary and Sara Jane. She died at the age of 54 in 1936 in Russell Co.,KY.
They had a daughter named Carmie.
