Hormidas St Germain 
Hormidas was born after 1856.1 Hormidas' father was Joseph Dit St. Gemain Gaucin and his mother was Marie Benoit. His paternal grandparents were Antoine Dit St. Germain Gaucin and Therese Cailla; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Benoit and Marguerite Forcier. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Antoine, Joseph, Theophile Alexis, Amanda, Delia, Dieudonne and Rosilda. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.-
