Barbara Sommer 
Barbara was born on March 3rd, 1850 in Ihringen, Baden, Germany.1 Barbara's father was Johann Jacob Sommer and her mother was Katherina Storer. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Fritz, Jakob (Jack), Wilhelm, Otto, Rosina, Anna Marie and Katharina. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 95 on April 3rd, 1945 in Ihringen, Baden, Germany.1 
Barbara and Jakob were married in a religious ceremony after 1866 in Ihringen, Baden Germany.1 They had five sons named Robert, Albert, August, Jakob and Adolf.
