Genevieve Rate 
Genevieve was born in February 1678 in Montmorency, Ile DE Quebec, Quebec.1 Genevieve's father was Jacques Rate and her mother was Anne Martin L'ecossais. Her paternal grandparents were Francois Rate and Jacquette Heuget; her maternal grandparents were Abraham Dit L'ecossais Martin and Marguerite Dit Traversy Langlois. She had eight brothers and three sisters, named Jacques, Bertrand, Michel Joseph, Jean Baptiste, Jacques, Pierre, Guillaume, Ignace, Marie Anne, Anne and Louise. She died at the age of 76 on November 25th, 1754 in St. Pierre, Ile D'orleans, Quebec.1 -
