Marie Pothier

Marie was born on October 31st, 1673 in Quebec, Quebec.¹   Marie's father was Étienne Pothier-Laverdure and her mother was Michelle De Lahaie.  Her paternal grandparents were Pierre Pothier and Marie Danbonet; her maternal grandparents were Francois Lahaie and Nicole Lepron. She had three brothers named Jean, Toussaint and Jean Francois Jean Baptiste.  She was the second oldest of the four children.
