Gorg was born on January 9th, 1610 in Althorpe, Lincoln, England.  Gorg's father was Richard Masonne and his mother was Alyce Pople.  His paternal grandfather was Myles Mason; his maternal grandfather was Robert Pople.  He was an only child.


Gorg's family with Francis Bell

‌Gorg and Francis were married in a religious ceremony on December 11th, 1628 in Holy Island, Northumberland, England.  They had a son named Johne.
