Nicolas was born in 1601 in Rouen Nnormandie France.1 Nicolas' father was Nicolas Marsolet Dit St Aignan and his mother was Marguerite De Planes. His paternal grandparents were Nicolas Marsolet and Laurence Griffon. He was an only child. He died at the age of 76 on May 15th, 1677 in Quebec Quebec.1 General Notes
