Claude Rivard Loranger 
Claude Rivard was born about 1665 in Cap-DE-La-Madeleine, Quebec.1 Claude Rivard's father was Robert Rivard Loranger and his mother was Madeleine Guillet. His paternal grandparents were Pierre Nicholas Rivard Lavigne and Jeanne Mullard; his maternal grandparents were Pierre Guillet-Lajeunesse and Jeanne St Per Dit Delaunay. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Mathurin, François, Joseph, Robert, Louis-Joseph, Rene-Alexis Dit Loranger, Madeleine, Marie Anne, Marie Charlotte, Marie Catherine and Francoise. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died on February 15th, 1735 in Ste-Genevieve, Quebec, Canada.1 -
