III was born about 0830.  III's father was I Sergius and his mother was UNKNOWN Drosu.  His paternal grandparents were Greek Ruler At Naples Marinus and UNKNOWN Eupraxia.  He was an only child.  He died in 0870.

He had a biological son named II.
