His paternal grandparents were Nicolas Gosselin and Marguerite Dubreal; his maternal grandparents were Christopher Lelievre and Georgette Clement. He had a brother named Francois Amable. He was the older of the two children. He died on April 11th, 1727 in St Laurent, Ile D'orleans, Quebec.1 -
