Robert was born on March 1st, 1628 in La Ventrouze Perche France.1 Robert's father was Jean Gagnon and his mother was Marie Geffray. His paternal grandparents were Barnabe Gagnon and Francois Creste; his maternal grandparents were Felix Geffray and Jeanne Chevalier. He was an only child.
