Gilles Dupont 
Gilles was born in 1636 in Biencourt, Bretagne, France.1 Gilles' father was Guillaume Dupont and his mother was Marguerite Feraur. He was an only child. He died at the age of 47 on December 24th, 1683 in Cap DE La Madelaine, Champlain, Quebec.1 
‌Gilles and Francoise were married in a religious ceremony on August 10th, 1670.1 They had two sons and four daughters, named Jean Baptiste, Joseph, Jeanne, Marie, Marie Anne and Marie Joseph.
