Rohese was born about 1124 in Hedingham, Essex, England. Rohese's father was Aubrey II De Vere and her mother was Adeliza De Clare. Her paternal grandparents were Aubrey I De Vere and Beatrice De Gand; her maternal grandparents were Gilbert Fitzrichard De Clare and Adeliza De Clermont. She had a brother and a sister, named Aubrey III and Juliana. She was the youngest of the three children. She died after October 1166. She was buried in Chicksand Priory, Befordshire, England.-
