Sir Robert de Ufford, Knt., was summoned to parliament as a Baron from 13 January, 1308, to 19 December, 1311. His lordship was in the expedition made into Scotland in the 34th Edward I [1306]. He m. Cecily, one of the daus. and co-heirs of Sir Robert de Valoines, Knt., Lord or Walsham, and had issue, Robert, his successor; John, archbishop of Canterbury, d. 1318; Ralph, Justice of Ireland; and Edmund. He d. in 1316, and was s. by his eldest son, Robert de Ufford.
