Roger De Merlay 
Roger's father was Ralph De Merlay and his mother was Juliana Of Dunbar. His paternal grandfather was William De Merlay; his maternal grandparents were Earl Of Dunbar Gospatric and UNKNOWN Unnamed. He was an only child. He died in 1188.General Notes
Roger de Merlay, was a great Northern baron, and it was through Agnes
de Merlay that the Gobions acquired their Yorkshire property. Roger succeeded
his brother William. He married Alice de Stuteville, daughter of Roger, and
died in 1188.
