Rohesia was born about 1064 in Tonbridge, Kent, England. Rohesia's father was Richard Fitzgilbert De Clare and her mother was Rohese Giffard. Her paternal grandparents were Gilbert "Crispin" De Brionne and Constance D'eu; her maternal grandparents were Walter I Giffard and Ermentrude De Flaitel. She had two brothers and a sister, named Gilbert Fitzrichard, Robert and Daughter Of Richard Fitz-Gilbert. She was the oldest of the four children. She died about 1121 in Tonbridge, Kent, England.-
