Robert was born about 1340 in <, Ruan Lanthorne, Cornwall, England>.  Robert's father was Sir. John l'Arcedekne Baron and his mother was Cecily Haccombe Baroness Archdeacon. He had eight brothers and a sister, named Ralph, Warin, Richard, Otes, John, Martin, Reginald, Michael and Isabella.  He was the fifth youngest of the ten children.  He died after January 25th, 1365.
