Dedi I of North Hesse's father was Graf Dietrich I of Wettin and his mother was Jutta of Merseburg. His paternal grandparents were dedi of Hesse and of Herz; his maternal grandfather was Graf Dion of Merseburg. He was an only child. He died on November 13th, 1009.General Notes
