Thomas' father was Sir Ralph "the Old" de Vernon and his mother was Mary de Dacre. He had two sisters named Agatha and Rohese. He had a half-brother named Richard. He died before 1336.General Notes
He was the youngest legitimate son of Sir Ralph de Vernon "the Old." He held land in Lostock Gralam in the time of Edward I.
