Thomas was born in 1150 in Cumberland,England.  Thomas' father was Lambert deMulton and his mother was Nn. deBriwere.  His paternal grandfather was Thomas deMulton; his maternal grandfather was Robert deBriwere. He had a half-brother named Thomas I.  He died at the age of 51 in 1201.
