Amaury IV was born about 1070 in of Montfort,Eure,France. Amaury IV's father was Simon I de Montfort , Seigneur of Montfort Amauri and his mother was Agnes d'Evereux. His paternal grandparents were Amaury II deMontfort , Seigneur of Montfort and Bertrade de Gommetz; his maternal grandparents were Richard , Count d'Evereux , Count of Evereux and Adela de Toni. He had a sister named Bertgrade. He was the younger of the two children. He had a half-sister named Isobel. He died on April 19th, 1137.
Amaury IV were married in a religious ceremony in 1120.
