Robert deFerrers 
Robert was born in 1239 in derby, Lincolnshire, England. Robert's father was William deFerrers VII Earl of Derby and his mother was Margaret deQuincy. His paternal grandparents were William deFerrers VI Earl of Derby and Alice Agnes deMeschines; his maternal grandparents were Roger deQuincy and Helen MacDonald. He had two sisters named Margaret Joan and Agnes. He was the second oldest of the three children. He had three half-sisters named Isabel, Eleanor and Maud deLacy Countess. He died at the age of 40 in 1279.General Notes
Robert was the 8th and last Earl of Derby, who was totally disinheritedof Derby by Parliament for his activities with other barons against KingHenry III. Robert died 1279.
