His paternal grandparents were Earl of Hertford Richard FitzGilbert de Clare and Adeliza Alice le Meschin; his maternal grandparents were James deSaint Hillary and Aveline deHesding. He had a sister named Eveline Aveline. He was the older of the two children. He had three half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Richard, Richard, William V, Elana, Elana, Mabel, Aveline, Aveline and Avice Agnes. He died at the age of 56 on December 30th, 1218.-
