William de Braose 
William was born about 1175 in Bramber, Sussex, England. William's father was William de Braose Lord of the Bedchamber and his mother was Maud de Saint Valery. His paternal grandparents were William de Braose Sheriff of Herefordshire and Bertha de Pitres of Gloucester; his maternal grandparents were Bernald IV de Saint Valery and Matilda. He had a brother and two sisters, named Reginald, Magery and Maud. He died in 1210 in Windsor Castle, England.General Notes
