His paternal grandparents were Count Roger deBeaumont and Countess Adeliza Countess Meulent; his maternal grandparents were Hugues deCrepi and Adelaide de Vermandois. He had a brother and two sisters, named Waleran IV, Isabel and Alice. He was the second oldest of the four children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Robert II Earl, William III, Isabel(Elizabeth) and Gundred Adelaide. He died at the age of 64 on April 5th, 1168 in England.General Notes
