James Odum Ward 
James Odum was born on December 16th, 1811 in Wilson Co., Tn, Tennessee. James Odum's father was William Ward and his mother was Millie Odum. His maternal grandparents were John Odum and Monica Blanchard. He had a brother and seven sisters, named William C., Millie, Nancy Ann, Mary, Martha, Lunica, Susan and Louisa. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 62 on November 5th, 1874 in Near Bethany, Moultrie Co., Il, Illinois. James Odum WArd and Elizabeth Stark's Marriage in 1831 was the 1st marriage in the Wilborn Creek Settlement. The cermony was performed by E. Squire Thompson. Came to Shelbyville in 1828 age 17.
